2026 Update: Successful Emergence and Strategic Transformation

 

TPI Composites is pleased to announce the successful completion of its financial restructuring, marking a significant milestone in our company’s history. Through this strategic evolution, TPI has transitioned from a public entity to a private company following our acquisition by Energy Capital Partners (ECP), a leading investor in the energy transition and decarbonization infrastructure.

A Refined Operational Focus 

As part of our commitment to long-term stability and operational excellence, we have streamlined our global manufacturing footprint to better serve our core markets. This transformation included the successful sale of our manufacturing operations in India and Matamoros, Mexico, to Vestas.

This transition allows TPI to:

  • Strengthen Financial Health:Emergence as a private company under ECP’s ownership provides the capital and long-term stability needed to invest in innovation and operational excellence.
  • Focus on Core Regional Leadership: By concentrating our manufacturing efforts in our remaining North American facilities, we are better positioned to provide high-touch service and logistical efficiency to our strategic partners.
  • Invest in Technical Innovation: We continue to focus on our industry-leading field services and engineering development, ensuring the long-term performance of the wind blades powering the energy transition. Central to this mission is BladeAssure, an intelligent ply validation system that integrates real-time AI, precision lasers, and high-resolution cameras to eliminate human error and create a comprehensive digital fingerprint for every blade produced.

The completion of this restructuring secures TPI’s future as a resilient and focused partner to the wind industry.
